Climb Channel Solutions becomes IGEL sole UKI distributor
The distie is “the perfect partner” to expand IGEL’s engagement in the UKI, said Justin Thorogood
Climb Channel Solutions UK (Climb) has signed a sole distribution agreement for UK and Ireland with IGEL, nine years after the two firms first teamed up.
The partnership will allow the company to distribute IGEL’s secure endpoint OS for enterprise.
The solution is designed for secure browsers, SaaS, DaaS, and VDI, and strive to help businesses save money, fuel economic development, and advance sustainability, through a zero-trust approach.
This announcement comes after years of collaboration between the two organisations.
Their joint story began in 2023, when Climb acquired DataSolutions, a Dublin-based distributor which has worked with IGEL since 2016.
This partnership with “DataSolutions and now Climb is one that has consistently enabled IGEL to grow across the UK and Ireland,” said Justin Thorogood, director of channel sales at IGEL.
“That is why we have made the decision to engage on a sole basis.
“IGEL’s focus is on further expanding our engagement with the UK and Irish channel, and in Climb we have the perfect partner to make that happen.”
Brian Davis, VP of sales UK and Ireland at Climb, added: “We are very pleased to strengthen our partnership with IGEL, an organisation we have collaborated with for nearly a decade.”
“We have proven the demand for IGEL’s solutions across the UK and Ireland for a number of years, and with this sole distribution agreement now in place we will be able to build on the momentum we have created.
“IGEL is a strategic tier one vendor for Climb, and our dedicated and experienced IGEL team will continue to support partners to deliver long-term business growth.”
The distributor recently solidified its European activities with the opening of a new branch for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland officially opening in October 2024.
In January this year, it signed various new vendors in the DACH region, such as VAST, Canonical, Censys, Cynerio, SolarWinds, Superna, and Unframe AI.
