CrowdStrike and Ignition broaden the horizons with European expansion
The partners enter six new markets after a successful collaboration in the UKI and the Nordics
CrowdStrike has expanded its European distribution agreement with Ignition Technology to bring its AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform to six new markets.
This agreement will now include the Benelux, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece.
“Our partnership with Ignition continues to deliver what matters most: protecting customers and stopping breaches,” said Dan Danielli, VP of global distribution at CrowdStrike.
“By expanding our partnership in key European markets, we’re doubling down on our partner-first strategy, enabling more partners to drive consolidation, reduce risk and deliver real results with the power of the Falcon platform.”
Peter Ledger, CEO of Ignition Technology, added: “The Falcon platform is fast becoming the cybersecurity standard for our customers, who see clear value in consolidating onto a single platform.
“As demand grows, our partnership continues to expand - enabling partners to deliver outcome-driven security and real business value to organisations of all sizes.”
This is the third time the two partners have expanded their partnership across Europe since the start of the collaboration.
Starting in the UK in early 2024, Ignition became the vendor’s second partnering distie in the country, alongside Westcon-Comstor.
That same year, the firms ventured into the Nordics, delivering the Falcon platform to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.
Sean Remnant, chief strategy officer at Ignition, told CRN that the move was an “easy way to gain market share."
In October last year, they entered Ireland together.
Remnant then told CRN this would “give CrowdStrike the ability to scale [its] reach and capability in the region, by having more partner and customer conversations, doing more education and more enablement.”
