entrustIT places confidence in Bedfordshire region with DWM buy

entrustIT has purchased DWM Technical Solutions in a move that extends its UK footprint and bolsters its systems integration and smart building expertise

entrustIT has acquired Bedford-based DWM Technical Solutions as part of its ongoing effort to build out a physical presence across every major UK region.

The deal sees the Ringwood-headquartered MSP take full ownership of the 25-year-old systems integrator, which specialises in electrical, security, AV and smart building technologies.

The firm will continue to trade under the DWM Technical Solutions brand for now.

entrustIT said the buyout strengthens its capabilities in IP and systems integration while expanding its local coverage.

The combined group now numbers more than 75 employees.

“DWM is a natural fit with our business, strengthening our capabilities in IP and systems integration,” said entrustIT CEO Jeff Dodd (pictured).

“This partnership expands our reach in the UK and brings our combined team to over 75 people, enabling us to deliver even greater value to clients.”

The move gives entrustIT a significant base in Bedford, an area where it already works with several nationwide customers.

The company said existing clients will benefit from a broader service portfolio and faster on-site support through additional regional hubs.

The acquisition forms part of entrustIT’s wider strategy to scale through a blend of organic growth and targeted deals.

The MSP supports mid-market and large SME customers across sectors including professional services, manufacturing, logistics, retail and healthcare.
