Iglu buys Supportplan in icebreaking deal
This marks the MSP’s third acquisition since its founding
London-based MSP Iglu Tech Group has acquired Supportplan.
The addition of Supportplan’s capabilities to Iglu’s cloud services, cybersecurity, and modern workplace capabilities will aim to consolidate the latter’s position as an MSP and digital transformation specialist.
This buyout will allow the company to have access to a broader workforce and expand its offering in cloud migration, cybersecurity strategies, and digital transformation consulting.
Founded in 1992, Supportplan partners with vendors including Apple, Microsoft, Dell, HP, VMWare, Juniper, Kerio, and Archiware P5.
The company, whose clients’ “range from corporate giants to hundreds of smaller businesses,” currently employs nine employees.
In FY24, its net assets stood at £1.12m, compared to £1.15m in FY23.
The firm has been employee-owned since 2022.
“This acquisition is about more than growth - it’s about combining two incredibly customer-focused teams with a shared vision for innovation and service excellence,” said Jason Yeomans, CEO of Iglu.
“By bringing together Supportplan’s trusted expertise and Iglu’s capabilities in cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, we can deliver even greater value and support to businesses as they navigate today’s fast-changing technology landscape.”
Lance Beecheno, founder of Supportplan, added: “Joining Iglu ensures our team and customers continue to thrive with greater resources and opportunities.
“After 33 years I now aim to enjoy retirement but I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved and excited for the future of Supportplan being part of the Iglu Tech Group family.”
Established in 2013 as ISAAC, it has since made three acquisitions.
In 2022, ISAAC bought out Microsoft partner Guidance Technologies.
In late 2024, on the first anniversary of its rebrand, the firm purchased 100 per cent of Kent-based MSP Impreza Computer Services Limited.
In addition to its HQ in London, the Microsoft Gold partner also has offices in Kent.
