Jeremy Keefe named CEO of Kubus
Keefe takes the reins to drive a new phase of UK growth following last year’s £9m PE investment
Networking and IT infrastructure solutions provider Kubus has announced the appointment of Jeremy Keefe (pictured) as its new chief executive officer.
With over 25 years of experience working in the UK IT channel at technology firms such as Computacenter, Citrix and most recently Uniphore as VP of Europe, Keefe joins Kubus with immediate effect.
He replaces previous CEO Andrew Humphrey, who stepped down in March to join private equity firm Volaris Group.
Founded in 2003, and rebranded from Hardware Group in 2022, Kubus counts the likes of Cisco, Dell, Extreme Networks, Fortinet and HPE as some of its vendors.
The Cirencester-HQ VAR landed a £9m investment from equity investor BGF last year to accelerate growth and expand its service offerings.
In the year ended 31 March 2024, Kubus delivered £35m turnover and £2.6m EBITDA.
Following the major investment from BGF, Keefe joins Kubus at a pivotal time for the business.
“At a time when the IT channel is continuing to go through systemic changes, Kubus has continued to build a strong and solid reputation,” said Keefe.
“Built on technical expertise, agility and a strong commitment to its clients, that reputation is well deserved. I am looking forward to working with the talented team to drive sales, fully leverage the benefits of recent investments, and build on the company's core strengths to become a global IT infrastructure and managed services partner."
Kubus Group executive chairman, Paul Brennan, added: “Jeremy joining us for the next stage of Kubus's evolution, is focal to our success.
“Aligning Jeremy’s cross-continent industry experience with our global coordination capabilities, innovative services, and highly accredited partner technology solutions, I am even more confident of our successful expansion. Jeremy is the right person to take Kubus on the next stage of its journey."
