Kaseya hires new CRO and CTO to drive SMB tech market transformation
Anthony Anzevino and Pratik Wadher bring decades of IT leadership experience
Kaseya has named Anthony Anzevino as CRO and Pratik Wadher as CTO to capture the SMBs tech modernisation opportunity.
Anzevino brings over 20 years of experience working at tech vendors, starting as district sales manager at EMC (now part of Dell), where he stayed for over six years.
He then transitioned to VMware where he worked as divisional VP, before moving to AWS as director of sales of the Americas’ mid-market.
Over the years, he held other leadership roles across different organisations such as VP of sales, US commercial and Canada at Veeam, and global VP of customer success and renewal sales at Commvault, which he joined in 2019.
Since 2023, he held the title of SVP of sales Americas at Commvault.
In his new role, Anzevino will aim to align sales and customer success, and deepen client relationships.
“What initially got me excited about joining Kaseya is the company’s impressive and expansive customer and partner ecosystem,” he said.
“I also got a glimpse of the hard-working culture that helps them win on a daily basis.
“Combining that with the executive team’s focus on customer experience and innovation I believe Kaseya is positioned to have a tremendous positive impact on the global SMB market.”
Wadher also brings just over two decades of tech experience, having started his career in the industry as director of product development at Mendocino Software.
He held different leadership positions at companies such as Data Domain and Tintri, before founding his own business, Applatix, in 2015.
The open-source products and services provider, of which he was also CEO, was bought out by Intuit in 2018, for which he then served as SVP of product development for seven years.
“With AI reshaping how small businesses and MSPs manage IT and security, Kaseya is uniquely positioned to lead this transformation with an AI-driven platform,” he highlighted.
“I was drawn to Kaseya’s leadership in IT and cybersecurity management and the opportunity to accelerate its next chapter of innovation.”
Rania Succar, CEO of Kaseya, added: “Small and midsize businesses are modernising their technology stacks at a once-in-a-generation pace, and MSPs are their critical partners.
“Kaseya has the opportunity to be at the centre of this transformation - harnessing AI to automate, strengthen security, protect data and simplify IT for our customers.
“Anzevino and Wadher bring the leadership, experience and vision to help us capture this extraordinary opportunity.”
These new appointments represent the first C-suite changes made by Succar since she became CEO of the vendor in June.
