Redcentric names new CEO as FY25 figures show revenue jump
The MSP has a new CEO after several consecutive chief exec swaps while EBITDA soars double digits in FY25
Redcentric has announced Michelle Senecal De Fonseca as its new CEO alongside significant FY25 growth.
She joins the number 27 ranked VAR with immediate effect.
Senecal De Fonseca (pictured) has been a non-executive director of the AIM-listed company since February 2024.
She was previously managing director for Vodafone's cloud and hosting services business, and served as area VP for sales and services for Northern Europe at Citrix Systems before becoming its global VP for strategic alliances.
“My vision is to elevate our commitment to delivering unparalleled value to our clients by enhancing our service offerings, embracing cutting-edge technologies, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration,” said Senecal De Fonseca.
“I am dedicated to empowering our talented team to drive operational excellence, strengthen client partnerships, and position Redcentric as the trusted partner for businesses navigating the complexities of the digital landscape.”
The new chief exec takes the top job one month after previous CEO Brian Woodford decided to step down after just two months for “personal reasons”.
He was in line to replace Peter Brotherton, who in January decided to relinquish the reins of Redcentric, only to return until further notice after Woodford’s departure.
Now with Senecal De Fonseca in place, Brotherton has agreed to remain available to the business in a strategic advisory capacity.
Redcentric FY25
A new face at the helm isn’t the only big announcement from Redcentric as the Harrowgate-based MSP publishes positive development in a pre-close trading update for the financial year ended 31 March 2025.
FY25 revenues climbed 4.2 per cent from £163.1m last year to £170m.
While Adjusted EBITDA surged 30.7 per cent to £37m from £28.3m.
Redcentric attributed the increase to its acquisition strategy and the “positive impact of enhanced operational efficiencies”.
In FY25, the firm successfully completed the migration of the datacentres business, a key milestone in Redcentric's transformation strategy.
The separation of the company's two core business entities, Data Centres and Managed Services Provision, presented operational and accounting complexities, Redcentric said.
It added that while these challenges required considerable management focus, it was essential to establish two distinct and well-structured business units for the future and this initiative has been successfully concluded.
The MSP gave a shout out to Broadcom’s acquisition of VMWare as an operational highlight, which saw Redcentric appointed as one of only seven strategic partners in the UK.
“Customer engagement has been positive, and operational improvements have enhanced cost efficiency during the period,” it said.
