Veeam promotes Kinda Baydoun to lead EMEA partner organisation
She previously led growth across the Middle East, one of the company’s “fastest-growing regions”
Veeam has promoted Kinda Baydoun to lead for its EMEA partner organisation, as the company aims to boost its channel ecosystem in the region.
Based in Dubai, Baydoun brings two decades of IT experience.
She started her tech career in 2005 at Sun Microsystem, now part of Oracle, as services partner representative for the Gulf region and Pakistan, holding various managerial roles across the Middle East over four years.
In 2010, she joined HP as a networking sales specialist for Mediterranean Europe and MEA, later serving as midmarket sales manager for the Middle East and enterprise group indirect sales manager for UAE.
The tech vet moved to HPE in 2015, where she stayed for over five years in diverse leadership roles across the Middle East.
Baydoun’s story with the data protection and cyber resilience vendor began in 2021, when she was hired as manager of channels and distribution for the Middle East.
Over the past four years, she has been promoted several times, most recently serving as director of channel sales for EMEA East.
During her time as the company, she has worked on driving targeted promotions to accelerate Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) adoption among partners, while also helping regional teams optimise partner coverage and investments.
“I am thrilled to be leading our EMEA partner team,” said Baydoun.
“As Veeam advances its SaaS-first strategy and deepens its focus on the enterprise segment, we are also strengthening our capabilities in key areas such as security and AI.”
Tim Pfaelzer, GM and SVP of EMEA at Veeam, added: “Kinda's expertise and vision will be invaluable as Veeam continues to strengthen our partner ecosystem and drive growth in the EMEA region.
“Kinda’s promotion within Veeam highlights our dedication to nurturing and promoting internal talent, ensuring that our customers and partners benefit from the exceptional skills and insights of our team, driving collaborative success and innovation.”
This appointment comes a few months after Pfaelzer told CRN that the Middle East was one of the company’s fastest growing regions in EMEA after the UK, France, and Germany.
