Global distributor Westcon-Comstor continues to consolidate its European leadership and today announced the promotion of Stephane Reboud to SVP, sales for the region.

The Dell veteran joined Westcon in February this year, after 21 years with the vendor.

Most recently, he spent five years as VP strategy and sales, global lead for the mid-market segment at the vendor.

His new remit will include leading all Westcon and Comstor sales teams across Europe, as well as the company’s global customer sales teams in the region. He will continue to report to René Klein, Executive Vice President for Europe.

The distributor said the move mirrors similar changes already rolled out in MEA and APAC, where a unified leadership structure has “resulted in measurable growth and driven partner success”. Crucially, Comstor will retain its Cisco-only focus while benefiting from closer collaboration with the wider Westcon sales organisation.

“A key priority will be enhancing partner enablement by harnessing the full ecosystem of services and vendor capabilities across both Westcon and Comstor,” Westcon-Comstor said.

Reboud added: “I’m humbled and energised to take on this responsibility. We’re on a strong trajectory, and I believe that as one unified team, we can achieve even more. My focus will be on listening actively and fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment to deliver excellence for our partners and vendors.”

Klein described Reboud as “the ideal person to lead our sales teams as we enter this new chapter”, citing his “deep industry experience and people-first leadership style”.

This follows Westcon-Comstor’s recent moves in Europe, most prominently signing a regionwide distribution deal with AWS in November 2025, which the distributor has leveraged to expand its influence in the market since.
