Martyn Brownlie appointed Sonicwall UK chief

Andy Zollo moves up to EMEA-wide role in double promotion at security vendor

Sonicwall has promoted Martyn Brownlie to the UK country manager with incumbent Andy Zollo moving up to a pan-EMEA role.

Zollo (pictured) joined the security appliance vendor in 2006 as UK country manager, ascending to a role as regional director for northern Europe three years ago. He has now been handed the post of vice president of EMEA and tasked with making Sonicwall the market-share leader across the region.

Zollo's role overseeing Sonicwall's UK business is taken over by Brownlie, who currently runs the vendor's operations in the north of the country.

Marvin Blough, vice president of worldwide sales at Sonicwall, said: "Andy brings the right level of experience, skill and demonstrated leadership to make EMEA our high-growth region. Andy complements our already outstanding and talented team in EMEA.
