Swiss-HQ distributor ALSO has posted soaring FY25 results, driven by momentum in its cloud business and recent acquisitions.

Earnings rose 39 per cent year-on-year to €15.2bn (£13.25bn).

Cloud revenue skyrocketed 38 per cent to €1.6bn, while top line from unique users spiked 34 per cent to €5.9m.

In addition to activity in its cloud business, the company said performance was supported by continued optimisation across its product portfolio alongside improvements in its reseller and vendor mix.

Acquisitions also contributed to the uplift, including the purchase of Berkshire-based Westcoast, which added €4.2bn in revenue and €73m in EBITDA generated during 2024 across the UK, Ireland and France.

Group EBITDA spiked 22 per cent to €286m, marking a return to growth after a 5.5 per cent decline in FY24.

“The company’s success is based on the breadth and quality of its business models and clear operational management with strong cost and cash flow discipline,” said CEO Wolfgang Krainz.

“Stringent working capital management and continuous efficiency improvements have proven their worth and are strengthening the company's financial robustness in the long term.”

Looking ahead, ALSO expects EBITDA to land between €300m and €340m in FY26.

Over the medium-term, and including the impact of potential takeovers, it forecasts EBITDA of between €425m and €525m.

These figures follow positive momentum shared for H1 FY25, as top line soared 35 per cent to €6.9bn and EBITDA increased.

The distributor added it will continue to assess M&A opportunities but will only pursue deals that deliver positive cash flow within a predefined period following completion.

The organisation also expanded its presence across the world over the past 12 months.

In February 2025, it entered the US market in a bid to capitalise on the “90 million commercial unique users” in the country and its (ICT) total addressable market of $1.5tn per year.
