Cato Networks' annual recurring revenue (ARR) has surpassed $350m (£259.3m), a 43 per cent year-on-year increase compared to 2024.

This comes as the vendor has revamped its leadership team and doubled down on its channel involvement over the past 12 months.

In February 2025, it hired Karl Soderlund as global channel chief to lead its partner ecosystem strategy and evolve its programme.

Three months after his appointment, the firm unveiled an updated channel track to help partners differentiate, introducing two different tiers, ‘Starter’ and ‘Advanced’.

In a recent interview with CRN, Soderlund said the revamp received a strong reception in EMEA, particularly with service providers.

He added the organisation, which works with roughly 1,000 firms across the world, has around 300 partners across EMEA and about 75 in the UK.

MSPs currently represent 50 per cent of its ecosystem.

“We are a 100 per cent channel company,” explained the channel chief.

Other exec appointments in 2025 include Nicolas Warnier as VP of sales, EMEA and Marcus Guerriero as Americas VP of sales.

Jaime Romero was hired as CMO last month.

Growth was also fuelled by acquisitions and funding rounds.

In September, the vendor purchased cyber firm Aim Security.

In June, Cato raised $409m in Series G funding at a valuation of more than $4.8bn.

In parallel, the firm expanded its presence in Europe with the launch of a research and development centre in Prague in May, which is expected to develop in size over the next year.

“Cato’s mission is to fundamentally simplify and modernise enterprise networking and security, and our growth is a direct reflection of that vision,” said Shlomo Kramer, co-founder and CEO of Cato Networks.

“Surpassing $350m ARR is a significant milestone that underscores the strong demand from Fortune 500 and Forbes Global 2000 enterprises for the Cato SASE Platform, and the trust our customers place in us to securely connect their businesses.”
