CDW sees double-digit growth in third quarter
The Top VAR’s UK and Canadian operations lead growth with a 26 per cent jump in net sales
CDW has reported its third quarter 2026 financial results, with net sales up by 17.7 per cent.
Net sales totalled $6.76bn, compared to $5.74bn in the same period in 2025.
CDW’s UK and Canadian operations outpaced the wider business, with net sales jumping 26 per cent to $880.1m.
According to the reseller, the increase in net sales were a result of customer demand primarily in data storage and servers, notebooks/mobile devices and software.
Gross profit in the third quarter hit $1.39bn, compared to $1.26bn for the third quarter of 2025, marking a 10.3 per cent increase.
However, gross profit margin fell from 21.9 per cent to 20.5 per cent, which CDW attributed to product mix and lower margins in certain product categories.
Non-GAAP operating income for the third quarter hit $619.8m, up 16.8 per cent from the same period in 2025 ($530.6m).
“CDW delivered robust third quarter results, powered by broad-based strength across our diverse customer end-markets and strong momentum in enterprise AI adoption,” said Christine A. Leahy, chair and CEO, CDW.
“By bringing together the technology, expertise and capabilities our customers need, we are helping advance their most important priorities and turn technology investment into meaningful business and mission outcomes.”
Growth following Lovelytics acquisition
The positive results come after CDW acquired Lovelytics in September, and the reseller said it remains confident in its ability to outpace US IT addressable market growth.
Leahy commented, “Our ability to address customers’ needs across the full technology stack and lifecycle, together with our continued strategic investments, reinforces our confidence in our ability to outpace US IT addressable market growth by 200 to 300 basis points on a constant currency basis and drive sustainable long-term value for our customers and shareholders.”
CDW ranks 5th on CRN’s Top VARs 2025.
