Chris Hartley becomes Exabeam VP UKI and Nordics
The appointment follows a period of leadership changes and the launch of a new partner programme
Exabeam has named Chris Hartley VP for UKI and Nordics as it looks to capitalise on what the new regional leader described as “one of the biggest technology shifts since the move to cloud.”
Hartley joins from Rapid7, where he spent eight years, including four as regional director for UKI and Nordics.
He has also held senior roles at tech firms such as McAfee, Intel, Appspace, Cisco and MEI Digital.
In his new role, Hartley will lead regional engagement, focusing on customer outcomes, long-term partnerships and addressing cybersecurity challenges across the region.
He is expected to support organisations in modernising security operations through Exabeam’s Accelerated Security Operations approach, aimed at improving threat detection, investigation and response (TDIR) through AI-enabled analytics and automation.
The role will also see him work with customers to deploy solutions that integrate with existing security tools and data sources, supporting both the Exabeam New-Scale and LogRhythm platforms across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
“I’m joining Exabeam at a hugely important time for cybersecurity across the UKI and Nordics,” said Hartley.
“These markets are currently navigating one of the biggest technology shifts since the move to cloud, as AI rapidly becomes central to driving innovation and operational outcomes.
“What excites me most about Exabeam is its strong customer focus, its heritage in leading user and entity behaviour analytics (UEBA) since 2015 and the way it’s building on that foundation with innovations like Exabeam Agent Behavior Analytics (ABA).”
Egon Kando, VP of Europe at Exabeam, added: “[Hartley] joins us at a pivotal moment as organisations across the UKI and Nordics rethink how they approach security operations in an increasingly AI-driven landscape.
“His combination of regional expertise and proven leadership will be instrumental as we deepen our presence and help customers navigate this shift with clarity and confidence.”
The appointment comes as Exabeam continues has made various exec changes over the past 12 months.
Earlier this month, the company hired Erik Herfindal as regional sales manager for the Nordics.
Other recent hires include Mazen Adnan Dohaji as SVP and GM for India, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (IMETA), Ramy Muhammad Ahmad as senior director of sales engineering, IMETA, and Sultan Alanazi as Saudi Arabia country director.
These changes follow the appointment of Pete Harteveld as CEO in October.
Kiley LePage joined the organisation as chief legal officer in April.
Exabeam also updated its channel strategy in July with the launch of the Exabeam APEX partner programme, aimed at addressing evolving cybersecurity demands.
