Econocom awarded highest sustainability accolade by EcoVadis

European MSP giant grabs Platinum Medal for its commitment to environmental, social and governance issues

Beating its own goal of achieving a Platinum medal status by 2028, Econocom is celebrating securing the accolade two years early.

The badge - which came with a score of 88 out of 100 - means it ranks in the top one per cent of the 150,000 companies assessed worldwide by EcoVadis, which scores across four pillars – Environment, Social and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

Econocom scored 89/100, 89/100, 86/100 and 86/100 respectively.

Econocom, which posted €2.9bn revenue in FY2025 and employs more than 8,600 people in 16 countries, first scooped a Silver EcoVadis award in 2017 before progressing to Gold in 2023, and finally Platinum in 2026, where its score improved +12 points compared to its previous assessment.

Angel Benguigi, CEO of Econocom, said the award reflects all the hard work made by everyone at the company.

“Receiving the EcoVadis Platinum Medal is a great source of pride for the Econocom Group,” he said.

“It is a recognition of a long-term commitment driven by all our employees to fully integrate environmental, social and ethical considerations into the heart of our business model. This ambition shapes our daily actions and reflects a strong conviction: making sustainable performance a tangible driver of value for our clients, partners and all our stakeholders.”

Véronique di Benedetto, vice president of Econocom France in charge of ESG and Impact, added: “This distinction is part of a long-term trajectory, true to Econocom’s DNA since 1973,” she said.

“It reflects a collective commitment driven by all our teams - who I would like to thank - around key priorities: responsible digital and circular economy, inclusion and diversity, reducing our environmental footprint, social engagement, and responsible governance. This consistent effort across all group entities has been instrumental in achieving this result and commits us to continue with the same level of ambition.”
