Emma Westland becomes head of Zoom UKI channel
The move is part of a broader EMEA channel leadership shift at the company
Zoom has promoted Emma Westland to head of UKI channel, less than two years after she first joined the company.
Westland announced her appointment on LinkedIn.
She was hired by Zoom in 2024 as UKI strategic partners lead.
Prior to joining the US-based vendor, she held leadership roles at various tech companies over the past two decades, including RingCentral and Poly (now part of HP).
The appointment comes as Zoom increases its focus on the UK.
In November, it announced plans to open a UK datacentre to support data residency requirements and expand its presence across the public sector, healthcare and financial services.
Westland said in a LinkedIn post yesterday the facility is now live, adding it opens up “significant opportunities for partners serving UK businesses and public sector organisations.”
Her promotion comes amid wider leadership changes across Zoom’s EMEA channel team.
In March, Tony McNish transitioned from UKI channel leader to EMEA head of channel.
In November, Juergen Reintjes stepped down from his role as DACH and Eastern Europe channel leader after a five-month tenure.
The company has made a number of additional leadership changes over the past year.
Last month, it appointed former Microsoft executive Russell Dicker as chief product officer.
In August, Awinash Sinha was named chief digital information officer and GM of Zoom Revenue Accelerator, while Todd Reeves joined as chief people officer.
In May 2025, Sandra McLeod was appointed chief information security officer.
The changes follow a period of growth for the business.
Zoom reported a 4.4 per cent year-on-year revenue rise for FY26, reaching $4.9bn (£3.6bn).
In the fourth quarter, top line reached $1.25bn, up 5.3 per cent from the same period the previous year.
The company also overhauled its partner programme in late 2025 with the launch of Zoom Up 3.0.
The updated scheme introduced distinct tracks for resale and agency partners, as well as a dynamic points-based rewards system and an annual assessment period, according to Nick Tidd, head of global channel go-to-market, in an interview with CRN.
