Extreme Networks has launched Extreme Partner First, a new partner programme designed to improve sustainability through the use of AI tools.

The channel scheme reportedly establishes a unified rebate structure, faster deal approvals, clearer pricing and benefits and the use of AI-driven tools to support collaborating firms.

It is designed to simplify deal registration, improve pricing transparency, expand access to training and certifications and use automation to shorten time to revenue and improve profitability.

One major change is the introduction of a single global SKU- and volume-based rebate model, intended to reduce ambiguity and improve margin predictability.

The programme includes incentives linked to Extreme Platform ONE, the vendor’s AI-powered networking platform that combines networking, AI and security capabilities.

Extreme Platform ONE was first announced for MSPs in February 2025 and was made generally available in July.

The US-based firm has also unveiled a unified global framework for deal registration, designed to support companies pursuing international opportunities.

This includes worldwide partner identification tools, system-enforced deal protection and a target of 48 hours for service-level agreement (SLA) approvals.

The scheme also includes an AI sales assistant, which will strive to help organisations access sales information more quickly, alongside role-based dashboards, faster opportunity submissions and approvals, real-time deal visibility and quicker access to rewards.

In addition, collaborators can earn new combined certifications covering installation and troubleshooting with a focus on AI readiness and use cases within Extreme Platform ONE.

“Extreme’s partners are central to how we win in the market,” said Joe Spencer, SVP of global channels and strategic initiatives at Extreme.

“With Extreme Partner First, we’re redefining the partner experience with a unified global deal model, radically simplified deal registration and AI-powered automation across the lifecycle.

“Partners get clarity, speed and protection so they can operate more efficiently, invest with confidence and deliver greater value to their customers while building long-term, profitable growth with Extreme.”

The programme refresh follows positive momentum for the vendor, with revenues increasing two per cent to $1.1m (£848m) in FY25, driven by demand for its solutions and services, according to Ed Meyercord, president and CEO of Extreme.

The vendor also reported a strong start to FY26, with turnover leaping 15.2 per cent year-on-year to $310.2m, thanks to share gains in the Americas and increased customer engagement in EMEA and APAC.

This marked its six consecutive quarter of growth.
