FutureRange has acquired EOS Systems Limited to expand its services across the Irish island.

Launched in 2002, Belfast-based tech solutions provider EOS Systems has leveraged dependable service and local expertise to establish relationships with clients in Northern Ireland.

The purchase will reportedly enable FutureRange to expand its security-first approach to companies all over the island.

The MSP is headquartered in Dublin with additional offices in Cork and Limerick, which it obtained through its merger with Garry IT in 2022.

The organisation also intends to create up to 50 new roles over the next 24 months to “support continued investment” in its people and capabilities.

“Expanding our presence across the island of Ireland was a big step for us and it mattered that we partnered with a business that genuinely shared our focus on long-term client relationships and service quality,” said Danny McEntee, MD at FutureRange.

McEntee took on the role of MD last January, replacing Michael Rooney who transitioned to CTO after five years in the role.

Rooney has since left the organisation, with Eoin Kiersey assuming the position since December.

This marks the second buyout made by the company over the past 12 months.

In July 2025, it purchased the managed IT services arm of DigitalWell to boost its presence in Ireland.

The deal added 18 engineers to its workforce and increased its client portfolio.

These acquisitions were fuelled by private equity firm Cardinal Capital’s backing in March, which led FutureRange to merge with HLB Ireland.

The organisation currently serves over 1,000 users, according to its website.

It partners with vendors such as Sophos, Cisco, ThreatLocker, usecure, Systancia, Citrix, Microsoft, HP, Nerdio, SolarWinds, Barracuda, Palo Alto and Bitdefender.

The MSP also works with businesses throughout various sectors including healthcare, agriculture and accounting.

In addition to managed services, it also provides cybersecurity and digital transformation capabilities.
