HPE names Westcoast and Infinigate UK distribution partners amid portfolio revamp

The move comes after HPE's decision to consolidate its global distie model following the Juniper takeover

HPE has reshaped its UK distribution strategy with the appointment of Westcoast and Infinigate UK across its expanded portfolio.

Westcoast has been named an HPE distribution partner for the UK, covering the combined HPE, HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking portfolios.

Infinigate UK has been appointed as a specialist VAD for HPE Networking, providing partners with access to HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking solutions.

The moves come as HPE aligns its distributor ecosystem following its buyout of Juniper Networks last year.

Westcoast expands HPE team

Alongside its appointment, Westcoast is investing in its HPE business by expanding its team of dedicated specialists.

The distie said the move will provide partners with additional expertise and enablement across infrastructure, networking, hybrid cloud, AI and services.

Westcoast and HPE have worked together for more than two decades.

“Having invested in HPE Networking expertise for many years, Westcoast is uniquely positioned to help partners unlock the full value of the combined portfolio,” said Phil Leblond, technology solutions technical director at Westcoast.

“Today’s investment in our specialist team reinforces that commitment, ensuring partners have access to even greater expertise, support and enablement as they navigate the opportunities ahead.”

Infinigate lands specialist networking role

Infinigate will focus specifically on HPE’s networking portfolio, supporting partners with logistics, professional and lifecycle services, enablement as well as pre- and post-sales support.

The distributor already worked with Juniper Networks prior to its acquisition by HPE, giving it existing expertise across enterprise networking, secure connectivity, cloud-managed networking and AI-driven network operations.

HPE said Infinigate was selected due to its value-added distribution track record, UK channel reach and specialist focus on AI networking and security.

“This expanded collaboration creates a compelling growth opportunity for Infinigate and our channel partners,” said Justin Griffiths, RVP UKI and ANZ at Infinigate.

“By combining our channel expertise with HPE’s innovation, we can help partners enable customers to realise the value of AI-driven, self-managing networks - accelerating transformation and simplifying operations.”

HPE on the new agreements

Charlie Tunley, channel and partner ecosystem director, UKIMEA at HPE, said both appointments will help the vendor simplify partner engagement across its expanded portfolio.

“The appointment of Westcoast as a UK distribution partner reflects HPE’s commitment to pairing the scale and consistency of our global strategy with the local expertise and market knowledge our partners value and rely on,” he said.

On Infinigate, Tunley added: “Infinigate’s networking and security expertise, combined with its partner-first approach and strong UK channel track record, makes it an important specialist distributor for HPE Networking.

“Together, we’re making it easier for UK partners to access our combined capabilities and deliver AI-native, resilient networks that improve security, operational efficiency and customer outcomes.”

The announcements follow broader changes to HPE's post-Juniper channel strategy.

Earlier this year, the vendor named TD SYNNEX and Ingram Micro as its two global distribution partners as part of efforts to create a more unified distribution model across the combined HPE and Juniper portfolio, while continuing to work with local and specialist distributors in key markets.
