Kick ICT delivers mixed results in FY25
The services provider remains positive for 2026, fuelled by acquisitions and an expanded offering
Glaswegian MSP Kick ICT has reported declining revenue for the year ended 30 September 2025 but remains optimistic about its future growth prospects.
Top line fell more than six per cent to £27m, down from £28.7m the previous year.
EBITDA also slipped slightly to £4.5m, compared with £4.6m in FY24.
On the other hand, gross profit rose two per cent to £16.3m (FY24: £15.9m).
Despite the mixed results, the company described its performance as “strong”, pointing to momentum across its managed support and professional services divisions.
The firm also said it secured new logos across its core offerings, saw increased activity across several existing customers and maintained high levels of client retention.
Workforce changes, tech focus and M&A
The company noted that EBITDA was partly impacted by workforce changes made during the year.
Kick ICT appointed Steven Brown as CEO in January, with the role becoming effective on 2 February.
He replaced Tom O’Hara, who led the business for ten years.
In April, the business hired Melanie Stevenson as group sales director.
The Scottish MSP also made several further organisational changes during the financial year, including establishing a new demand generation team, restructuring its sales organisation with dedicated new business and account management functions, doubling the size of its marketing team and investing further in its service delivery capabilities.
In terms of technologies, the firm doubled down on cybersecurity, AI, datacentre solutions and Microsoft Azure, which it expects to drive continued progress moving forward.
It also hinted at a post year-end acquisition of a Microsoft Business Central customer base, which is expected to strengthen its capabilities within the Dynamics division.
2026 projections
For FY26, Kick ICT said it intends to pursue further buyouts across all divisions, supported by investment from LDC in 2024.
The group also plans to expand into new markets while broadening its portfolio of products and services for both new and existing customers.
