Dutch cloud provider Leaseweb has launched its new UK channel track to provide enhanced support for MSPs, cloud and enterprise infrastructure partners.

The partner programme includes a three-tier structure that aims to provide adaptable reseller, referral and solution partner options adapted to different business models.

The company said the scheme has been designed with commercial flexibility in mind to maximise partner value and long-term profitability.

It also includes upgraded technical and pre-sales support to help partners deliver trusted services to their customers.

Leaseweb’s partners will be able to use the firm’s global AI-ready infrastructure combined with local data sovereignty options, allowing them to deliver services globally while maintaining compliance and control over data.

Through access to AI-ready infrastructure and GPU-enabled cloud services, partners will reportedly be able to support customers running AI, machine learning and other data-intensive workloads.

“The UK channel represents a significant growth opportunity as more organisations look to adopt hybrid cloud strategies that offer greater flexibility, control and cost efficiency,” said Terry Storrar, UK MD at Leaseweb.

“Our new channel partner programme reflects Leaseweb’s long-term investment in the partner ecosystem, giving partners the flexibility, support and scalability they need to deliver tailored services to customers.”

The announcement follows the appointment of Jason Goody as UK channel sales manager in April.

The former OVHcloud and Weblib exec will lead and develop the company’s UK channel partner programme.

The move also forms part of a wider leadership reshuffle over the past 12 months.

In January, Leaseweb appointed Bert Stam as Netherlands MD and Jan Willem des Tombe as global strategic relations director.

The vendor also recently revamped its C-suite team.

In December, it named Ronald Richardson CRO.

Last June, the company hired Alex Wessel as COO.

Beyond Europe, the firm also continued to invest in APAC, launching its S3-compatible Object Storage solution in August.
