US-based security vendor Rubrik has announced plans to invest more than £375m in the UK over the next five years and named London as its EMEA headquarters.

The investment will boost the organisation’s expansion across the region, including recruitment across sales, marketing and customer support.

Rubrik said the UK has become one of its fastest growing and most strategically important markets as it reportedly delivered a record Q1 performance in the country, driven by customer increase across large enterprises and public sector organisations.

For the first quarter of FY27, total top line soared 39 per cent to $387.1m (£288.6m), compared with $278.5m at the same time the year prior.

Subscription earnings stood at $374.2m, a 41 per cent jump from $265.7m.

New UK-based organisations adopting its cyber resilience platform include Fortegra Financial Corporation, Harbour Energy, Manchester City Council and the Scottish Government.

The company now serves 2,000 clients across EMEA, with nearly half using three or more Rubrik products.

“The UK is one of the world’s leading technology markets and has become increasingly important to Rubrik’s long-term growth,” said Bipul Sinha, CEO, chairman and co-founder of Rubrik.

“This investment strengthens our UK ecosystem, helping EMEA customers address the critical need for European data sovereignty, quickly recover from cyberattacks and safely scale AI.”

Kanishka Narayan, minister for AI and online safety, added: “Rubrik’s decision to make London its European headquarters is a vote of confidence in Britain’s talent and this country as a place to invest, hire and grow.

“It will create high-skilled jobs and deepen our strengths in the fast-growing fields of cyber and AI, another sign that the UK is where the world’s leading tech companies are choosing to build their future.”

The move comes a day after Rubrik announced the availability of Rubrik Security Cloud on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.

The offering targets EU public sector and highly regulated private organisations looking to deploy cloud-based cyber resilience capabilities while meeting data sovereignty requirements.

The announcement, and the firm’s Q1 performance, follow an already strong FY26, when turnover soared 48 per cent to $1.32bn.
