Xantaro UK top line falls in FY25 amid services and hardware slump
The company expects acquisitions and UK broadband rollout to drive future momentum
Xantaro UK, the British arm of Germany-based solution provider Xantaro, has reported declining results for the financial year ended 31 August.
Revenue fell around 12 per cent to £25.7m, down from £29.4m the year prior.
Gross profit came in at £5.7m, a decline of approximately 16 per cent from £6.8m.
The firm said performance was impacted by intensified competition, which led to reduced sales across both services and hardware.
On the other hand, operating profit leapt 36 per cent to £547,100, compared with £402,000 in FY24.
The company added that it has maintained a strong market position, supported by long-term customer relationships and the value it delivers through tailored services and ongoing support.
Looking ahead, the German group intends to leverage recent acquisitions to drive growth.
In November, it bought out German IT system house anykey in November to strengthen its capabilities in IT infrastructure, datacentres and networking across Europe.
The UK arm is also investing in the UK government’s £5bn Project Gigabit initiative, which it said will create new service opportunities.
The business expects further momentum driven by increased service demand and continued expansion in datacentre builds.
The results come as the solution provider promoted Marcus Cuthbert to UK MD in January, replacing Mark Hutchinson after 13 years in the role.
The firm has also reshaped its leadership team over the past 12 months.
In October 2025, it appointed Wolfgang Winkler as chief people and transformation officer.
A month earlier, Ingbert Seufert was named chief sales officer, while Jürgen Städing was promoted to COO in April.
These changes follow the departure of Gerold Arheilger as group head in late 2024, a role now held by Martin Czermin.
The company, which has offices in London, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg employs 170 staff, 21 of which operate in the UK, according to its latest financial report.
