Exinda adds VADition to distribution mix

Incumbent Exclusive Networks claims arrival of second distributor will not harm its success with WAN optimisation vendor

Exinda Networks has appointed VADition as its second UK distributor in a move supported by incumbent Exclusive Networks.

Exclusive Networks claims Exinda has been its fastest-growing product, and argued the market is big enough to support two distributors.

Founded in 2002, US-based Exinda's Unified Performance Management (UPM) solution combines application visibility, control, optimisation and acceleration in a single network appliance.

VADition will also offer training to Exinda's resellers and provide marketing and post-sales support.

Kevin Suitor, Exinda's vice president of marketing, said: "VADition has become a trusted business partner to a large network of enterprises and other organisations across the UK. We are pleased to count them as one of the business partners that will fuel our continued international growth."

VADition co-founder Neil Ledger (pictured) said: "Exinda's UPM strategy makes it a stand out in the world of WAN optimisation."

Chris Walsh, sales director of existing Exinda distributor Exclusive Networks, was philosophical about VADition's entry into the fray.

"Exinda was our biggest growth product last year and we will continue that success with them in 2011," he said. "VADition aren't a bad bunch to compete with – they play fair."
