Rocate sharpens EverFocus alliance

Harlow distributor takes on HD CCTV from EverFocus

Manufacturer EverFocus has signed up Essex distributor Rocate to build its UK sales channel for HD CCTV.

Rocate, which has a sales team in Humberside as well as a head office and logistics base in Harlow, Essex, claims to have 1,000 specialist security integrators and installers on its books.

John Boorman, managing director of Rocate, said the company offered technical expertise and product knowledge in IP and analogue CCTV, customer service and channel support.

"Rocate is an active member of the HDcctv Alliance Group and believes that EverFocus UK has the right approach to capitalise on this considerable market opportunity in a market still dominated by coaxial infrastructure," Boorman said.

Basil Singh, managing director at EverFocus, said it believed Rocate is good at capitalising on new innovations and market opportunities.

"We believe that they can achieve the substantial sales growth from our HD CCTV products, which will benefit their customers with new revenue streams," Singh said.

Rocate is also joining EverFocus's recently launched UK partner programme. EverFocus aims to sign up 200 UK partners this year, and in return is promising UK-based account managers and assistance with systems design.
