Ingram Micro gains Bioaccez

Distribution giant signs EMEA-wide partnership agreement with 3G security camera manufacturer

Ingram Micro EMEA has signed a partnership deal with Barcelona-based Bioaccez to supply its 3G security cameras to its reseller base.

The Bioaccez Maggis series of cameras allows the monitoring of remote premises using the standard video call feature of 3G mobile phones with no need for an IP service or extra software downloads to the phone.

Included in the package will be a camera and microphone device, infrared night-vision sensors and an integrated 3G compact modem.

Pierre-Yvon Mechali, executive director and general manager of Ingram’s telco division, which was launched last year said: “We are very pleased to be working with Bioaccez, a company that is developing innovative machine-to-machine mobile solutions.

“Its Maggis security camera will appeal to both consumers and professional buyers in the growing security market. It’s ideal for monitoring personal or business property, monitoring children or the elderly, and discouraging theft and vandalism.”
