Avere Systems and VADition eye enterprise partners
Storage vendor hunts partners in wake of UK distribution deal
Storage vendor Avere Systems has given new distribution signing VADition the task of growing its reseller base in the UK.
Avere has signed a UK-wide deal with the distributor, and wants the firm to recruit enterprise-focused partners on its behalf to market its FXT Series tiered storage technology.
The US-based vendor says its FXT Series technology can help boost the efficiency and performance of network attached storage devices through the use of automated storage tiering.
Brian Gladden, vice president of sales at Avere, said the technology was proving popular with the enterprise market.
He said: "VADition brings strong credentials in market making and channel building. We are seeing a lot of enterprise demand for automated storage tiering, and will charge VADition with recruiting resellers that can exploit Avere's leadership in this space."
Jason Dance, sales director at VADition, added: "There is a real sales and margin opportunity here for partners, and a clear business case for enterprise customers to grasp."
