Maverick adds Sony and HP offerings
Displays and digital signage broaden appeal for distributor
Maverick has added Sony displays and HP digital signage to its portfolio.
The distributor has been selected by Sony to deliver its displays and projectors in the UK, with a pan-European agreement deal for parent firm Techdata. It has also just been appointed to push the HP SignagePlayer.
According to Mark Tildesley, general manager at Maverick UK, the HP offering is plug and play, helping resellers take digital signage to SMEs for the first time.
“Digital signage has been primed to move into the mainstream for some time, and with HP getting involved, that’s bound to start happening. We urge resellers to get on the case now and start learning about the solutions, and taking them to their customers,” he said.
With regards to the Sony signing, Maverick will be helping Sony to maintain and grow its position around display sales to the business and education markets.
