HP unveils new ESSN boss for EMEA
HP poaches former EMC boss Frédéric Dussart to run server, storage and networking business in the region
HP has snared a big scalp from rival EMC to run its EMEA Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking (ESSN) business.
Frédéric Dussart (pictured) joins in the position of senior vice president and general manager for ESSN EMEA.
HP has tasked Dussart with growing all its product lines with "a special focus on the channel and on cloud computing".
He replaces Wolfgang Wittme, who HP confirmed will soon be announced in another position within ESSN, reporting to Dave Donatelli.
Dussart began his career in 1985 at HP in France, but has spent the past eight years at storage giant EMC, rising to the post of senior vice president and regional country manager for the Europe South, Middle-East and Africa region.
