TalkTalk Business dials up Nimans

After rebranding from Opal Telecom, business ISP inks alliance with distributor

Comms distributor Nimans claims it is now a "serious player" in the network services market after inking an alliance with TalkTalk Business.

Its alliance with the B2B arm of TalkTalk – which recently rebranded from Opal Telecom – will focus on wholesale voice calls and data solutions including Annexe M, Ethernet and Ethernet First Mile.

Mark Curtis-Wood, head of networks at Nimans (pictured on the right), said: "Having the power of TalkTalk Business behind us significantly strengthens our network proposition and demonstrates we are a serious player in the market, operating from a position of strength.

"We are now able to provide our customers with an even better service such as improved wholesale call rates and an opportunity to take advantage of consolidated, next-generation services – as we are dealing direct with a major industry name that boasts a huge national network footprint."

Andy Hollingworth, director of wholesale at TalkTalk Business (pictured on the left), added: "It is great to see Nimans taking the lead and providing its customers with access to the strength, scale and reach of our Next Generation Network. This new business alliance reflects Nimans' growing stature in the market, positioning itself as a real force in converged solutions."
