HP calls on equipment leasing firm to help UK partners "overcome budget-related sales barriers" in SMB space
Finance giant BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions is to engage directly with UK HP partners working in the SMB space to help them shatter "budget-related sales barriers".
The business equipment leasing monster has signed an alliance with HP Financial Services which kicks off in the UK and France.
This will see BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions engage directly with HP resellers to help them push "innovative financial solutions" to SMB customers and provide them with dedicated resource.
This includes local account management, online credit tools, finance training, documentation support and product specific promotions.
HP stressed that HP Financial Services will continue to serve mid-market and enterprise customers directly.
Colin Burnes, programme manager at 3,600-strong BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, said: "Our role is to provide simple payment solutions for the end-user and to help HP channel partners overcome budget-related sales barriers.
"Many businesses don't realise the benefits of an IT finance-based procurement strategy which can help maintain technology investment, even in the current environment. Our objective is to help HP channel partners grow revenues by sharing our financing expertise and helping them increase customer value."
