PSCo plasmas go up to 152in

Distributor and rentals specialist extends Panasonic deal to snap up new giants

Videowall and large-screen specialist PSCo has signed a deal with Panasonic to distribute its latest giant plasma screen, which has a whopping 152-inch screen.

Stuart Holmes, managing director of PSCo, said the new HD screen is at the forefront of display technology in terms of picture quality and 3D capability.

"PSCO will be working closely with Panasonic to provide the specialist transport, service and accessory packages to bring this product to market," Holmes said.

Holmes said PSCo would work to ensure the 152-inch plasma screen is available to all integrators, offering specialist site surveys, installation and warranty packages throughout the UK and Ireland.

Vincent Slevin, country manager for the UK and Ireland at Panasonic, said: "We worked together [previously] to launch the 103-inch plasma, which at the time was the largest plasma screen on the market.

"We have a strong working relationship with the team at PSCo."

The 152-inch plasma screen is promoted as a full-HD professional-grade display with 3D. It comes with either a bespoke pedestal stand or the Screenlifter device, which enables the screen to be wheeled into position and raised to a preferred height.

The first one for the UK market has been ordered and will be delivered to PSCo in June.
