Integralis unveils new CTO
Dennis Deane joins security integrator in newly created role
Security integrator Integralis continues to beef up its boardroom by announcing the appointment of Dennis Deane to the newly created role of chief technology officer.
Deane (pictured), who most recently ran the EMEA IT Mergers and Acquisitions portfolio at payment processing firm First Data, has key responsibility for Integralis Global Services (IGS).
His arrival follows the promotion of UK managing director Simon Church to the group role of chief operating officer.
Chief executive Georg Magg listed IT consumerisation as a key issue with which Magg will be grappling.
"Dennis joins Integralis at an interesting time, not only for the company but for the industry too," Magg said.
"Dennis will be essential to our further expansion of solution management and development to provide a state-of-the-art service. Our focus is offering services that allow these IT professionals to embrace not only consumerisation, but the continuing challenges and fast-changing business environments of IT, rather than the common practice of not tackling the issue."
Deane added: "My role will be to focus on putting in place the structures and processes as well as innovating our services as Integralis moves the market from reactive, event-driven services to a continuous service, managing all the components based on business risk and not simply managing the security technologies."
