HP and Intel keep on trucking
Vendors join forces to embark on a educational tour of UK resellers
HP and Intel are embarking on a month-long truck tour of the UK to extol the virtues of HP’s latest notebook range.
The duo will be using specially adapted trucks to visit Preferred and Gold level partners across the UK to offer training and sales advice on the products, including the HP EliteBook 8460p, HP ProBooks 6360b and 4330s, as well as a range of other products.
The tour will see HP train sales professionals on key new features, including its latest Forge design.
To encourage participation, HP is running an incentive programme called The Big Deal, allowing sales reps to take part in online quizzes, questionnaires and games, and top performers will receive a reward.
Trevor Evans, channel sales director at HP PSG UK and Ireland, said: “We really value the relationships we have with our channel partners and understand the importance of providing them with the right tools and training.
“After a recent successful tour where we visited our distributors, we are pleased to be offering our channel partners a similar training programme to keep them well informed and supported on our new product range.”
The truck tour has already covered areas from Birmingham to Basingstoke and is set to continue to Chippenham, Barlborough, Sheffield and Bishopston in the coming weeks.
