Keoghan takes the reins at Ricoh UK

Changes are afoot at the top as the print management vendor appoints a new UK head

Print management vendor Ricoh UK has promoted Philip Keoghan to be its new chief executive as the incumbent head takes on a European role.

David Mills, previously chief executive, will now serve as executive vice president of operations at Ricoh Europe. Keoghan has previously worked as chief operating officer at Ricoh, and was UK president for Ikon Office Solutions UK before that.

In a statement, Keoghan (pictured) said: “This is an incredibly exciting and challenging time to be taking over the leadership of Ricoh UK as we enter a new financial year. I am fully committed to ensuring that our customers continue to see us as a trusted partner delivering strong business value, and I look forward to developing new growth opportunities, including IT services.”

He added: “I would like to thank David Mills for all his hard work over the past two and a half years, and I look forward to working with him as part of the wider Ricoh Group network.”

Mills countered: “After 31 years of continuous service to the Ricoh UK family, I congratulate Philip on his career development at the company. I thank him for all his support as COO over the past 18 months, particularly the crucial role he played in the successful integration of the three UK businesses of Ikon, Infotec and Ricoh to form one strong UK business entity. Philip displayed exceptional people talent management and development skills throughout this time.”
