Acronis enlists EntaTech for system builder push

Disaster recovery specialist opens up corporate and consumer lines to distributor

Disaster recovery vendor Acronis has appointed distributor EntaTech to support its push into the system builder market.

EntaTech has been entrusted with the task of marketing the vendor's corporate and consumer product lines to firms in the system builder channel.

As part of the deal, EntaTech also acquires an exclusive licence allowing it to bundle the vendor's consumer backup and recovery product, Acronis True Image Home, with Windows 7 OEM.

David Blackman (pictured), general manager for northern Europe and the Middle East at Acronis, said: "To sell to system builders is the next logical step in our business development strategy and EntaTech was the obvious choice to help us achieve this goal."
