LDD Group has a ball
VAR organises charity ball to celebrate its coming of age and raises thousands for worthy causes
Leeds-based VAR LDD Group has raised a whopping £10,000 for local charities after holding an 18th birthday ball.
The event was hosted by lookalikes of The Office characters David Brent and Gareth Keenan, and was attended by more than 220 staff, customers and friends (selection of guests pictured).
The money was split between two charities: St Gemma’s Hospice and Cash for Kids.
Mandi Iles, group sales director of the LDD Group, said: “We wanted to mark our 18th birthday and to thank all our customers and suppliers for their support.
"It is fantastic to be able to help two amazing charities such as St Gemma’s and Cash for Kids and to know that the money will, among other things, go towards keeping Leeds’ teenage cancer ward open is even better.”
