Workspace management vendor adds to partner tally with slew of new signings

Workspace management vendor RES Software has signed up five new VARs to its partner programme.

Over the past several months, Agilisys, LETN, Foundation IT, I-innovate and Vcentral have all joined forces with the vendor and will now offer end users its products, which include the flagship Workspace Manager suite.

The offering allows organisations to centrally manage their physical and virtual desktop environments, and ensure that users have the same personal desktop settings, regardless of where they log in.

Chris Hammans, UK regional director of RES Software, said: "We are seeing a huge growth rate for desktop management and transformation solutions in the market locally, and we have recruited these partners to help us address these opportunities."

Steve Denby, sales director of new RES signing LETN, added: "There is an incredible amount of interest from customers around how they can reduce the cost of managing desktops at the moment.

"This is being driven by large potential desktop refresh projects, where new operating systems or virtual desktops are being considered, and the availability of new form factors such as tablet PCs," he added.
