Distributor signs Europe-wide agreement with vendor to increase its SSD market share

Toshiba Electronics Europe has signed Hammer to increase its solid state drive (SSD) footprint across the region.

Under the terms of the agreement, which covers the whole of Europe, Hammer will target OEMs and system integrators in application areas including broadcast equipment, content storage solutions and industrial and ruggedised PCs.

Shiro Ando, vice president of strategic business planning at Toshiba Electronics Europe, said: “Hammer’s experience and expertise in the storage sector perfectly complements Toshiba’s SSD range.

"Working together we will be able to support the growing number of OEMs and systems integrators across Europe that are adopting SSD solutions for their products and ensure that they reap the maximum benefits from the technology.”
