ADA heads up North

VAR cuts the ribbon on new Leeds office as demand grows from customers in the North

VAR ADA Technology Services has opened for business in Leeds after achieving 35 per cent growth throughout its 2010/11 year and winning new contracts in the region.

The firm is now keen to continue developing its presence across the North and build on its existing portfolio, which includes leasing specialist Syscap, commercial property firm MEPC and engineering firm the Doncasters Group.

Its Leeds office will be headed up by sales director Adam Hurst, who joined the firm from rival service provider InTechnology.

In a statement, Hurst said: “My appointment as sales director for the Leeds office supports ADA’s strategic objectives. With 10 years' experience of growing a managed services proposition, my skills are aligned with ADA’s areas of expertise.

“The IT co-sourcing market is rapidly expanding and I am confident that the North of England will play a key role in growing ADA’s existing portfolio.”

Carl Grieves, chief sales officer at ADA, said: “Adam brings with him a wealth of experience that will help position ADA as one of the country’s most prominent and accessible providers of IT co-sourcing and managed services.

“ADA is forecast to deliver substantial year-on-year growth over the next two years and the Leeds office is expected to play a significant role in achieving this.”
