C2000 recruits sales director and promotes Watts

Ex-Dell man Peter Hubbard joins distributor as Lee Perkins' former duties are carved in two

Computer 2000 (C2000) has shuffled its management deck in the wake of Lee Perkins' departure, enlisting a new sales director and promoting David Watts to the post of commercial director.

Former Dell public sector executive Peter Hubbard starts today in the sales director role.

He will share Perkins' former duties with David Watts, who has been promoted to the commercial director role assuming additional responsibility for PCs, software, print consumables and components.

Watts will also continue to oversee C2000's Maverick, Consumer Electronics and Datech arms.

C2000 managing director Andy Gass (pictured), stated: "I believe that these individuals and this new structure are fundamental in supporting our continuing growth and achievement of the goals."

Hubbard previously spent 11 years in senior sales roles at Dell, with a focus on the public sector. His CV also includes stints at IBM and Silicon Graphics.

Hubbard said: "I have been really impressed with the ambition and belief of the management team at Computer 2000 and I am excited to be joining a company that has that kind of drive and commitment – both to developing its own business and delivering growth for its customers and partners."
