Softek welcomes new sales director

Shameem Ibrahim joins distributor from vendor Netasq

Software distributor Softek has appointed a new UK sales director.

Shameem Ibrahim (pictured) joins the distributor from UTM vendor Netasq, and has held previous roles at rival vendor Astaro.

Mike Bienvenu, technical director at Softek, said: "We are delighted to announce that industry veteran Shameem Ibrahim has joined Softek. He brings with him a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and relationship management."

In a statement, Ibrahim said: "I am really looking forward to working with Softek, one of the few truly value-added distributors around, with a great portfolio of products and solutions to suit governments and SME businesses."

Ibrahim is set to visit a number of resellers in the coming months to educate them about Softek's solution offerings and marketing support.
