Huawei pairs up with 20:20 Mobile
Distribution agreement covers western and eastern Europe and Scandinavia
Huawei is hoping to reach new markets in Europe after signing a pan-European distribution framework with 20:20 Mobile.
As a result of the agreement, 20:20 Mobile will supply smartphones, tablets, mobile broadband dongles and mobile Wi-Fi hotspots to different channels across western and eastern Europe including the Nordic markets.
Meinie Oldersma, 20:20 Mobile group chief executive, said: “[Huawei] has been leading the mobile broadband revolution in Europe through the supply of its USB dongles and Wi-Fi hotspots.”
Huawei vice president Wang Jiading said: “Europe is a vitally important market, and it is crucial for us to partner with distributors that can expand our retail channels and add real value to our proposition in the process.”
Jiading said its R&D resource and partnership approach will distinguish the small partnership as it grows in the future.
Oldersma added: “We are delighted to join with Huawei at this exciting stage in the development of its portfolio and brand in Europe.”
