Audiovisual alliance moves further east

Industry group combines firms' forces to support customers around the globe

UK integrator Audio Visual Machines' (AVM) industry group, the AV Global Alliance, has extended its tendrils into Benelux and Hungary.

Sandy MacPherson, chairman of AVM, said that Netherlands-headquartered Bis and Hungarian integrator StreamNet have joined its alliance of services providers.

"The Alliance now operates in 30 countries around the world, further driving our global coverage for the supply of videoconferencing services," MacPherson said.

According to AVM, the AV Global Alliance is intended to team up leading audiovisual and videoconferencing systems integrators from different countries, with a view to mutually supporting their international customer base.

Alliance partners operate in 150 cities around the world so far, and have a claimed combined turnover in excess of $3bn (£1.8bn).
