Oki lines up a UK head of e-commerce and distribution
Appointment strengthens and streamlines channel sales structure, says vendor
Oki has promoted e-commerce business manager Simon Tetlow to UK head of e-commerce and distribution.
According to Oki, this is a new position that will make Tetlow responsible for the vendor's relationship with hardware distributors Midwich, Micro-P and Northamber, as well as its e-commerce and e-tail accounts with the likes of Amazon, BT, DSGi, Ebuyer and Misco.
Nick Munton, sales director at Oki, said Tetlow understood the vendor's e-commerce and e-tail accounts well.
"He also has knowledge and expertise in hardware distribution and what makes IT resellers tick," Munton said. "I am confident he will be a great success."
The appointment is part of Oki's plan to restructure its channel infrastructure and follows the appointment of Tressa Whitby as head of reseller sales and Gavin Castelyn as head of end-user business.
Tetlow has 20 years of experience in the IT sector, including stints at Brother and SHL Systemhouse. He joined Oki in 1998.
