Synaxon clinches extra margin for members
Dealer group negotiates more favourable discounts and rebates with distribution and vendor partners
Dealer group Synaxon has launched additional rebates to encourage its members to boost spend through its EGIS online platform.
The group has negotiated additional discounts with key distribution partners including Ingram Micro, Entatech, CCI and Beta, as well as higher rebates from vendors Fujitsu, GData, Cables To Go and Antec.
The rebates will be available only to Premier Partners who pay an annual subscription to Synaxon's EGIS online price and stock checking system.
Synaxon gave the example that a Premier partner that spends £125,000 with these suppliers using EGIS would earn £1,300 in quarterly rebates. This is on top of the normal margins they make on sales and other Synaxon benefits.
Chris Butterworth, head of purchasing at Synaxon, which was launched in 2008, said: "At a time when every penny counts, they will make a significant difference to our members and we are grateful to our supplier partners for providing these additional incentives."
