C2000 snares McGregor to run Azlan
Former Bell enterprise boss rumoured to be joining distributor in senior role
Distributor Computer 2000 (C2000) is staying tight-lipped on rumours that it has enlisted former Bell sales chief Colin McGregor to run its Azlan business.
McGregor left Bell last summer in the wake of the distributor's acquisition by rival Avnet and has since been working with channel consultancy Demuto.
According to insiders, C2000 has snapped up McGregor to fill the void left by the recent departure of TDAzlan boss Ian French.
McGregor held the role of enterprise sales division leader for Bell and was made a member of the distributor's board in 2009.
He would not be C2000's first senior hire in recent weeks following last month's appointment of Peter Hubbard to the post of sales director.
C2000 were unavailabe for comment.
