Logicalis snaps up Netarx
Integrator bolsters services offering by hitting US acquisition trail
Integrator Logicalis Group has acquired managed services specialist Netarx for $34m (£21m).
By joining forces with Netarx, Logicalis said it can grow its US footprint and add tier-one service desk support to its cloud, outsourcing and datacentre management services portfolio.
Netarx was founded in 1997, and claims its annual revenue is regularly around $60m.
This acquisition is one of several Logicalis has made this year after the firm splashed the cash in the UK on Tandberg VAR Direct Visual in January and Avisen-owned IBM reseller Inca in March.
Ian Cook, chief executive of Logicalis, said: "This acquisition enhances our portfolio, with a services offering that goes beyond infrastructure design and lifestyle management, and takes us to different areas of our customers' business."
