Pattinson exits Arrow ECS
James Pattinson ends four-year stint at distributor
Divisional director James Pattinson has confirmed he is leaving Arrow ECS after four years.
Pattinson (pictured) joined Arrow ECS as security sales director in 2007 following stints at several vendors including SurfControl and SonicWall.
He took the reins of Arrow's virtualisation business unit last year, in the wake of the distributor's acquisition of specialist security distributor Sphinx.
Pattinson told ChannelWeb that it was his decision to move on.
"I have been with the company for four years, turned around the security business and integrated the virtualisation business, and my job is done," he said.
Pattinson said he is currently working for a US-based venture capital firm in a consultancy role.
"I think Arrow is a great company and the parting is amicable," he added.
Arrow was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press.
