Logicalis is not just an MSP, it is an M&S MSP

Integrator wins six-year service and consultancy deal with retail giant

Integrator Logicalis has tied up a six-year managed services deal with high street titan Marks & Spencer.

The Slough-based VAR will provide the retailer with onsite and offsite support staff to deliver professional services and round-the-clock management of M&S' wired and wireless networks. The network infrastructure supports 700 stores across the UK, as well as headquarters and regional offices, distribution facilities and depots.

A key component of the long-term deal will be ongoing access to Logicalis' consultancy services. The integrator will be advising M&S on its future technology strategy and deployment.

Richard Presant, head of operations at M&S, said: "In Logicalis, we have a partner with the ability to align IT to the needs of our business. Our relationship is founded on Logicalis' continued achievement in maintaining excellent levels of service."

Tom Kelly, UK managing director of Logicalis, claimed the new contract took the two firms' existing working relationship to the next level.

"Quality is a watchword within M&S, and Logicalis is committed to maintaining the excellence of service delivery M&S has come to expect of us," he added. "Our experience in providing service excellence and innovation to M&S under a cost-efficient framework sets us in good stead to further our strategic partnership a long time into the future."
